With all the workplace violence affecting healthcare workers in the news recently, with one of them occurring within our region, I wanted to take a moment to reflect. Workplace violence is a deeply challenging reality in healthcare, leaving many nurses feeling vulnerable and unappreciated. As nurses, we face verbal abuse, physical aggression, and emotional distress, yet we continue to show resilience in the face of adversity. "Courage to Soar" reminds us that, even in the face of fear and adversity, we can rise above with strength and compassion. It takes courage to support one another, to speak up when something isn't right, and to continue providing care despite difficult circumstances. By leaning on our teams and lifting each other up, we create a safe supportive environment where everyone can thrive. Thank you for being a part of our community.
