Participate in the AACN Healthy Work Environment Survey by Nov. 13

We appreciate your help in reminding chapter members to participate in the 2025 AACN Healthy Work Environment (HWE) Survey. They should have received the survey email around Oct. 13 from our research partner, Penn Nursing Center for Health Outcomes and Policy Research (CHOPR). Members can check their spam folders for the email if it’s not in their inbox. Anyone who did not receive the email can take the survey using the public link below. Please share this link with other nurses throughout your organization. The survey closes Nov. 13.

Featured Journal Article: Improving Workplace Culture

A new article in Critical Care Nurse highlights how Los Angeles General Medical Center transformed its workplace culture by implementing AACN’s Healthy Work Environment Standards. The medical center’s initiative reduced nurse turnover, improved retention of new graduates, boosted certification rates, and achieved reductions in nurse-sensitive patient outcomes. Please share this article with your chapter members — it’s so easy to access with the journal’s digital format — and encourage them to explore how HWE standards can strengthen their own work environments.
