AACN Region 3 June 2017 News

Dear Region 3 Chapters,

 

Inspired by “Dare to” together we "Stepped Forward" to “Focus our Flames,” and “Courageously Care!” We have used our “Bold Voices” to proclaim that “It Matters!” It’s been quite the journey to "Guided by Why!" As I begin the final month as the Region 3 CAT, I'd like to share that I’ll always treasure these last three years, for this experience is one of the richest that our nursing community has to offer.

 

I aspired to be a CAT, but I had never anticipated the overwhelming support from within the Region that has accompanied the role! I’m so pleased to have had the opportunity to get to know and to serve each of you.

As the conclusion of this endeavor nears, accept my best wishes... may you always authentically lead, represent your patients and their families from the bedside to the boardroom, mentor chapter members, recognize the efforts of your colleagues, allow for personal balance and resiliency, and travel from coast to coast and places between led by the mission, vision and model (HWE) of AACN, the greatest nursing association on Earth!

You’re in such good hands with Desiree, she is very excited to begin this role and I know that you will love her genuine, enthusiastic character.
